    natter?  From what I understand diplomatic immunity merely makes you immune to being arrested/detained while you are covered by it and not to the alleged crime itself.  In other words, if you commit a crime while covered by diplomatic immunity and then later return as a private person no longer covered you can then be arrested (assuming the statute of limitations has not passed).
