  •  The GOP got years of obstruction (17+ / 0-)

They didn't get nothing.  They've been obstructing for years, holding up progress for years, watching the nation get worse for years.

They got everything they wanted.  All they're doing now is whining because the party is finally over.

    •  They also got different NLRB board nominees (5+ / 0-)

I would have hoped Obama would nominate the two most radical, fire-breathing labor activists he could find, just to rub their noses in it.  But that's hardly Obama's style.

We're all pretty strange one way or another; some of us just hide it better. "Normal" is a dryer setting.

never underestimate the ability of dems to take one step forward then two steps back...

as Norm notes, the Pukes got years of obstruction including dictating from the minority that obama would be precluded from passing an agenda in line with the party's platform...

ironically, one can argue that republican instransigence may have been the only thing preventing obama from achieving his grand ol' bargain...

Deserves it! I daresay he does. Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends. - Gandalf the Grey

This whole thing is about 4 years too late. I'd give them the first six months of Obama's presidency to show their colors. You have to wonder where we'd be today if this shit was stopped in its tracks in the beginning.

But hey, better late than never! Good job Harry.........
