Former AFL-CIO lawyer Nancy Schiffer and Kent Hirozawa, counsel to NLRB Chairman Mark Pearce might not be "fire breathing labor activists" to some of us, but I'm pretty certain the TEActivists consider them far worse than the initial appointees.

The Tea Party crowd is the easiest crowd to rile up. Obama could nominate Michael Steele and the Tea Party would complain about the liberal pick and ask supporters for $100 to fund the Grassroots Express campaign Leer jet.

"fire breathing labor activists" that might get elected to the NLRB?

Well, okay, Sarah Palin & Michelle Bachmann are two names that happen to come to my mind after a moment's thought. But I meant anyone with a minimum knowledge of Labor Law to know the difference between actual labor law & any random printed document, say the phone book. (I'd lay even money that despite her legal education that Bachmann would fail that test.)

Both Schiffer & Hirozawa have support of labor leaders.
I'm sure the rightwingers are pissed with this deal.
We got two better NLRB members.
