  •  As usual, a significant number of murder-suicides. (5+ / 0-)

You know --- the bodies that don't "count" when we discuss gun violence and needless deaths.

    •  Nothing counts as gun deaths/crimes to that (2+ / 0-)

bunch. Tom can write one of these a day listing 500 deaths each time but it'd never be enough for those fools to admit that it is a problem. Even referring to these as "anecdotal". They just don't matter.
There is but one thing that matters, carrying that gun everywhere all of the time 'just in case'. Think of the underlying issues a person has that feels they absolutely positively have to have a damn gun hidden on them 24/7/365, can't even go take a piss without the gun strapped on.
If you come to any conclusion about what it is that may drive a person to feel such a need, ask yourself if you really believe that anyone with that state of mind should even be allowed to own a gun at all, much less carry one around 24/7.
Every time I hear then spew that NRA drivel about 'mental health' I can't help but laugh, extreme paranoia is a mental health issue in and of itself, no secret there. Literally have hundreds of thousands , if not millions, walking around every day with guns hidden on their person who are stricken with this paranoia, let alone any other issues.
         Not a comforting thought...

Be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.
