......and we discover that we're living in a fascist society.  The big question now is: who will the exalted fuhrer be?
Well anyhow, this experiment called democracy that we've been engaged with for nearly 2.5 centuries was great while it lasted.

Who was it that said "Democracy only works with an enlightened populace"?

we need to educate the people in this country of what the word fascism truly means so they can recognize it when they see it.  Words like fascism, socialism and communism have become so purposefully obfuscated that people do not look at the current government as going down that path or if they do, they think that programs like health care is what is causing the country to turn into fascists.

Fascism is the bundling of corporate and government interests.  Fascism is corporatism.  The only difference is that in fascism, there is a strong unitary leader and in corporatism, there is an oligarchy.  Either way they are authoritarian and they have complete disregard for the interest of the people believing that what is good for the corporations and the state is what is good for the people.  In the early nineteen-thirties, there was a huge push and a twarted attempt at a coup de tat by the business leaders in this country to turn the United States into a fascist regime.

Books printed called liberal fascism and Presidents calling terrorists Islamo-fascists obfuscate the meaning of the word so it becomes meaningless and when it does arise, no one can accurately describe it because the words no longer mean anything.  We need to educate the people to what the words actually mean.  We need to give people a way to honestly categorize in their brain what is actually happening.  Giving people a word to describe something is an important step in focusing their energy to fight it.

with our intensifying corporatism for the rise of American fascism. And the Democrats are enabling it, even though clearly the Republicans will be the initiators for the final stages.
