    Both TD Bank North Boston Garden(Fleet Center/Shawmut Center) and Gillette Stadium were built with little or no public money.

    For the Garden, $120 million in financing was arranged by the banks. For what would be become Gillette stadium Bob Kraft financed %100 of the stadium construction.*

    *Yes. I know the previous plans, including the Hartford bid included public money, but they fell through therefore they don't count in this regard.
