  •  Just a little paranoid idea.... (10+ / 0-)

How many of the No votes had a little chat with the NSA and were told embarrasing or criminal things about themselves that could be made public if they voted the wrong way.

That's the beauty of paranoia, it allows you thpo think the worst of everyone. It seems to be the daily breath of the NSA and these Nay sayers.

Pity. I remember when America stood AGAINST torture and surveillance and the rest. Wasn't that long ago. I wonder who'll remember when we're all dissappeared.

    •  I noticed another round of "Let's see Weiner's (2+ / 0-)

      Weiner" right before the vote.

Seemed like a pretty clear object lesson in what just might happen to those who can't get their minds right.

Mr. Universe is a known degenerate Robotophile, and his sources include former Browncoat Traitors. What is their agenda in leaking top secret information about the Reavers and endangering us all?

boss may have something to hide, and maybe your co-worker too, and then maybe they both have an interest in you not getting any further if you don't want to get dirty and play the game you may not even know they're playing.

      I can't remember that time.

The human race has never been against torture or surveillance of others. It's just that the definition of "Others" has creeped into becoming everyone all over.

It did make the news when My Lai came out & there was a bit of a stink in the old MSM of the day. [Look it up kids] But when Bradley Manning evidently released the gunship films and it got made into a fundraising presentation by Asange, it was to mostly a ho hum in the media. Along the lines of the perps in the last administration who sold enhanced interrogations. No public outcry, no press coverage, no prosecutions.

Manning's post-arrest treatment has also been mostly below the notice of most media and their readers/listeners/viewers. I can also mention the  laser-like Where's Waldo press coverage on Snowden the person versus on WHAT he leaked.

We, the people... either just don't give a rats furry ass about liberty or become obsessive gun-nut paranoiacs in Freemen compounds [when we're not running the local sheriff's or police departments] Doesn't seem to be much in the middle... or in the media.
