South Korea makes plenty of beer, wonder if any creative types have combined the two kinds of fermentation? Of course kimchi is the kind of spicy, salty snack that's always popular with beer

    •  Probably part of the problem (0+ / 0-)

was North Korea expecting a German brewer to use old English equipment and expecting top-class lager. That would be like asking an all-grain homebrewer to make your wedding beer with a Mr. Beer kit. It is both an insult and a gross misunderstanding of the process and situation. Plus they would probably put Dear Leader on the label.
