I actually like that the ACLU is suing over this although I fear for their timing.  It's off in the courts where it belongs where evidence and truly confidential details that are vital for national security can be presented with the due consideration they require.  This case will be under the radar without reporters sitting in on every proceeding.  Instead on here people are trying to try this issue in public with all the personal agendas, the propaganda and political motivations involved.  Not a thing has been shown to be illegal officially, only this perception that it doesn't square with people's interpretation of the 4th amendment.  But guess what?  None of those perceptions matter.

We have a President that has shown himself to care deeply about the country and the truth and many extremely competent and loyal intelligence leaders that weighed the threats against us, their knowledge of the laws, their own perceptions to make the decision to use a debatable technique.  While it may not seem right, we have only the tiniest picture of the whole and many of us put our trust in this current administration in this matter.
