I think part of the problem is propaganda and the other part is the long, steady march towards the ultimate goal of plutocracy.  Just as a frog will sit in a pot slowly brought to a boil, workers just keep on keeping on.  The belts keep getting tightened, fear gets inserted with steady losses of jobs and the horror stories they hear, so they keep their heads down hoping and praying they'll keep their job with stagnant or lowering wages so they can keep their families with a roof over their head and food on the table.

The 1% play long ball.  This has been going on for decades and people have just kept "adjusting" to the idea that they're lucky if they have a job, lucky if they can pay their bills, lucky if they stay healthy and don't need to spend funds on doctors or hospitals.

As history tells us, it takes something happening - and it doesn't have to be a big something - for people to reach the breaking point.  And that, I fear, is what it will take.

Nobody is listening, the 1% keep on taking, and we'll reach a point where people won't take it anymore.  And that will be bad for everyone.

There already is class warfare in America. Unfortunately, the rich are winning.
