So the arm broke off Dad's computer chair last night, well actually early this morning at about 3:30 am, so I get woken up by a loud thud. Draco comes storming out of his room and panics when Dad didn't answer him right away. I take off the CPAP, turn it off and make my way out to see how bad it is, with Morgaine pacing back and forth between me and Dad, who is flat on his belly on the floor.
By this time Dad is moaning and moving a bit. He's ok, bruised ribs we think. Got him back to bed and settled, ibuprophin given, and he got to sleep after a while. I had to let Sophie out of Bit's room so she could check on Dad as well, then put her back because she and Morgaine wanted to chase each other around the bedroom instead of sleep. It took longer for Draco to settle and his pacing through the house kept the dogs up and worried.

Now he's up for the day, but still very stiff and sore. Ibuprophin once more. He won't go to the doctor, at least not yet. We'll see how he's feeling later.

As to chores, dishes is the one I hate the most. We have a dishwasher now, but I still do the pots and pans by hand every other day or so. I think I hate that the most because it stays finished the smallest amount of time.
And yes, my chores are done for the day, with the exception of finishing the laundry and folding and putting away (another on my least favorites list because it takes a lot of energy and strength and spoons).

The good thing is, his therapists when he was a kid taught him to fall well. He's able to walk with the walker like usual and move around, if a bit more slowly and stiffly, so I don't think anything is majorly injured. He was having trouble taking a deep breath last night but that seems to have improved today as well. Also no bright colors or swelling that would indicate anything major, just some pink and light purpling in a couple of spots.
