  •  I've seen the USU bus, and we had the company Pres (0+ / 0-)

    in to one of my classes. The design is to be able to charge at normal stops, the kind with turn times of at least 5 minutes. The first tests were using a 50,000 volt system, but the engineering is set to bump that up to 500,000 volts. Brings an entirely new meaning to the term quick charge.

    (And it is basically the same science being used by the Koreans but a business model that has promise of bringing more of it to market faster.)

    There can be no protection locally if we're content to ignore the fact that there are no controls globally.
