I love hot and spicy food. Vinegar, good. I eat jalapeños as is. Chili, shrimp, soup, beef, all things can be considered suitable for a caustic dousing. I believe I have conditioned my constitution that it is going to be a heated situation for the long run. I don't know exactly how hot I can stand it, but I'm getting there.

I love not even realizing a film is in black and white. SO many beautiful films are b/w, that's all we had, it was utilized nicely. Maybe it puts a modern audience into an easily accepted mode of the film's unreal time/place. For older audiences, it is normal. Interesting question, I have never heard of anyone objecting to black and white (I mean, it includes a million tones of grey, too.). *

I can whistle, it is done strategically to urge people to move away from me. Very annoying. How would I know if I am in tune (pretty much doubt it)?

I have about seven cookbooks, they were either projects I worked on graphically or gifts I truly appreciate. If I'm stuck for a recipe, I go online, such as when I wanted to serve crab cakes, I googled it, well, every senator, governor, representative, or office seeker in New England has his or her own family formula for crab cakes online, they can not be considered serious politicians without it. (I just went with hot and spicy.)

Mosquitoes already gave me West Nile in late June. Took a week to restore my energy. We have a lot of nice bugs here. They are mostly functional, eating things we can't even see. Always laughed that we love lightning bugs and lady bugs but are horrified by cockroaches. Maybe deep inside, we are all buggists.

*Here is a black and white movie I made in 1975, a parody of Patty Hearst. It was a recreation of newspaper photos of the era… http://www.youtube.com/...

Honesty is not a policy. It's a character trait.
