    Raymond didn't hear anything remotely like this at the Southern Baptist funded Wake Forest University just across town.

    I wonder if I "heard" something like this if anybody would go shutting down polling places in Cary or Apex?

    I'll believe corporations are people when one comes home from Afghanistan in a body bag.

      Southern Baptists anymore. They broke ties many years ago. The contributions by the Baptists were miniscule anyway after the R. J. Reynolds Endowment moved the school to W-S.

        Southern Baptists or Big Tobacco?  Now that you mention it, though I think I remember that... WFU left the seminary behind in Wake Forest (the town of) in... was it 1956-ish?  Something like that.  Not sure that Reynolds is a big step up though.

        Nevertheless, it still seems like "selective listening".
