    He started asking me questions about my house - how old is the roof, when was the house built, etc.

    When I balked, he responded that I might as well just tell him because he could get all of the information on the internet.

    Me: "I think we're done here" [closes door abruptly]

    I've also told cashiers who ask for too much info, "Here's the deal. I bring my merchandise to the register, put cash on the barrelhead, and walk out the door with my stuff."

    No one should put up with that nonsense, and any merchant who tries it deserves to go out of business.

    It turns out that the skill set required to get elected is completely different than the skill set required to effectively govern.
