  •  These arrests are the final straw for me. (26+ / 0-)

The Capitol Police have LOST this test of wills.  They've behaved unprofessionally  from the beginning, but the instances of where they are showing serious inability to control themselves are growing in number.  From the arrests of sign-holders for simply holding a sign (which is, by the way, allowed under the rules) to arrests of people just observing and doing nothing other than watching to these arrests today, which were unnecessarily brutal and appear to target two minority individuals-----all of these have been signs that the Capitol Police have escalated their behaviors, while those at the Solidarity Singalong, have stayed peaceful no matter what indignities they've been subject to.

This is disgusting, unjustifiable behavior by these police officers and I don't know how it will be ended, but it needs to stop NOW.  If Walker was any kind of decent human being, this would never have gone this far.  But like the typical sociopath he is, Walker (and Huebsch and Erwin) have been more committed to petty, vicious revenge against those who don't bow to them.  If this is how Scott Walker deals with dissent, it needs to become a focus for why he doesn't deserve re-election as governor and for showing why he could never be President of the United States.  Can any of us imagine this nutcase having access to the nuclear codes?!  He is a misfit and should never again be allowed to have his dirty mitts on any levers of power.
