to chemical weapon attacks?  It's to deflect attention and rehab the MIC's image?

the MIC lust, imo. Firstly there is the reality that nobody who has a chance of winning there is really somebody that wants democracy as is touted. There is the ruling group that definitely doesn't want democracy and there is the "brotherhood" group who want a theocracy. The small minority that wants a democracy are probably leaving town as fast as possible and, if they are smart, holing up in one of the surrounding countries.

At least that is what I got from Mica's dad. (And I couldn't spell his name well enough to look it up!)

Hi NSA. I am doing constitutionally protected stuff - like free speech. Too bad you are not!

there is a reason why they are choosing now to blow shit up in Syria, and it's not really about supposed "chemical weapons".

If you want to fake outrage any operative can create a chemical weapon trace in an area without much trouble.  It may even kill some people.  But as in all cons, it's the big payoff that is the goal.

Yes, I am psychic...or was that psycho? I always forget which.

      •  Maybe it's because Assad was starting to win? (1+ / 0-)

I am thinking that the intent is to ensure neither side has a great advantage over the other. This way they can continue to destroy each other. I can remember when the opposition was beginning to win and all of a sudden their arms supply was cutoff.

Assad and the Islamists dead - that would be a win-win for the West.

History has shown it will be easier for the US to knock down a leader of a state such as Assad than it will be for them to fight the jihadis.
