  •  Dear Judge Baugh, (9+ / 0-)

To Judge G. Todd Baugh, 13th Judicial District, Montana--

You seem confused. Please allow me to explain this in terms even you can (possibly) understand.

You know how when a grown man or woman chooses to join the armed forces, put on a uniform, and defend their country, this is called PATRIOTISM; but when adults strap an automatic weapon and a fistful of grenades onto child and send it out to fight their wars for them, this is called TERRORISM?

Likewise, when two consenting adults engage in an intimate physical relationship, this is called SEX. When a grown-up commits a sexual act on a 14-year-old, this is called RAPE. Just to be clear, it isn't "like rape," "sometimes rape," "sorta kinda rape," or "rape, but..." It is always, 100 percent, absolutely RAPE, period, end of discussion, game over.

In both circumstances, whether or not you brainwash the child into thinking it is a good idea is entirely irrelevant.

Just thought you might want to know in case this sort of thing ever comes up again.

PS: You are exactly why judges shouldn't be elected. A career politician is definitely the sort to decide that the poor, misguided 50-year-old white guy was clearly seduced by the 14-year-old worldly Latina temptress.
