      You are confusing two things.  In the LAW that set forth what an antique firearm would be, they picked 70 years.  The law was made in 1968, so that made the cut off 1898.  This has nothing to do with dictionary definitions of the term "antique."  It was an arbitrary choice not based on a time period (it could have been 75) and not on any significant technological firearm advance.

      The sequester is the new Republican immigration reform plan. Make things so bad here in the US that no one will want to live here.
