the door!  My funny little place is tiny, crowded, colorful, and tri-part.  The add-on bathroom/closet is the largest open space and the only area with enough electrical outlets for modern life.  It's cheap, it suits me, the bank guy who came out when they wanted to refi suggested they tear it down.  :(

I caretake the property when the owners travel and I'm grateful for a place to live that doesn't send me to the Crisis Breadbasket.

I'm not looking for a love that will lift me up and carry me away. A love that will stroll alongside and make a few amusing comments will suffice.

And surely the tougher times you are facing now will leave you with the compassion to lend a hand up to others.  I know it has been that way for me.

Beautiful country, privacy, lots of "nature" friends visit.  And I think I'm reaping some pay it forward benefits which is a lovely lesson.

And it seems to be true that when poor people have any extra money and see someone needier than themselves, they are more generous than people with much more to spare.  The very wealthy used to give more than they do now, because of tax deductions for charity.  But now they have so many loophole, and such low rates for the income that doesn't get through the loophole, that the charity deduction has little or no effect anymore.

At least we KNOW which rich people REALLY want to share since they aren't giving for tax reasons anymore.
