    for the diary by the way. From what the polling is suggesting and from what I've been reading I think the results should mostly line up on where your modeling says the results are going to be.

    On the seat of Melbourne I'm feeling more confident than I was a couple of weeks ago that Adam Bandt should be able to hold on. A Galaxy internal poll for the Greens indicates that a sizable chunk of Liberal voters will preference Bandt ahead of Labor. It will still be close on election night though.

    It's a shame Darrell Cheeseman won't be able to hold on in Corangamite. He had been consistently one of Kevin Rudd's biggest backers. But Corangamite traditionally is a Liberal seat, Cheeseman was lucky to win in 2007 and he was damn lucky to hold on in 2010.
