The comments came in response to a question from a journalist about U.S. intelligence on Syria.

I think this is the part where you apologize

This is where you twist what I said.   The Guardian article makes the context f Kerry's remarks clear in detail, so what if t doesn't quote the actual question he was asked?

It was a crazy stupid thing for Kerry to say, yet another bullshit "red line" ( followed by the pathetic assertion by Kerry that the US is only threatening an "incredibly small" - direct quote - strike.......lol.)

You didn't smear the Guardian because of this story. We all know the subtext.  Like USA Today is even close to competitive for doing real journalism.

Own your words like an adult

You claimed it wasn't in response to a question from a journalist and that is demonstrably inaccurate.

And what arrogance! So now only the Guardian can do journalism? That's hilarious.

      •  The Guardian never says there was a question (4+ / 0-)

involved. It implies a very different type of statement - a statement that there will be an attack if the weapons are not handed over vs. what was actually said.

Read the Reuters article or the NYT - they include everything you quote from the Guardian article but make it clear that it was in response to a question and not any kind of ultimatum. They are also quite detailed and clear.
