    thing he can do right now is document every single abusive thing he can recall - write it all down, record a video or audio, just get it on the record ASAP. Then, print and save any emails/memos etc. that support his story.

    Also, if he has any further communication with the company, record it. Look at the reporter's guide to recording for the laws in your state. If he can't record, I'd recommend keeping all communications to emails, or, to take notes during phone calls and allow a "witness" to listen in. After the call, both people write down everything they remember, no matter how mundane.

    I speak from experience. You need a record to win a lawsuit. I won one.
