  •  They have no legal right (18+ / 0-)

To shoot a brotha for brandishing a wallet or to sodomize a man with a plunger because he had the unmitigated gall to complain about prior incidents of police harassment...and even when their malfeasance is caught on video more often than not the "who are you going to believe; this officer or your lying eyes" defense  works with juries...

Fear doesn't just breed incomprehension. It also breeds a spiteful, resentful hate of anyone and everyone who is in any way different from you.

    •  Sadly, I forget the name...there have been so many (7+ / 0-)

An innocent man killed under Giuliani's reign in Brooklyn.  To impune the dead victim, and help the cops' case, Giuliani illegally unsealed and publicly released the man's juvenile records.

Ayn sucks. Please know I am not rude. I cannot rec anything from this browser. When I rec or post diaries I am a guest at some exotic locale's computer.

...officers as he pulled out his wallet.  The plunger incident was assault, pure and simple. The Diallo case was the product of stupidity and panic on the part of the officers, who looked like four assailants to the victim.

Patrick Dorismond. Giuliani eulogized him by saying he was "no choir boy." If that standard permits execution, the dirtbag Guiliani himself would have left us many a year ago.

"I am not for a return to that definition of Liberty under which for many years a free people were being gradually regimented into the service of the privileged few." Franklin D. Roosevelt, 1934

Yes, I clearly remember that piece of shit giuliani trumpeting the deceased's juvenile record, in an effort to "Trayvon" him.

By that standard, only real good christian men deserve to live.
