    the attacks, as such an order could have gone through other, unsurveillable channels. It could also be deliberate disinformation by Assad. However, it DOES make it that much harder to prove that he DID order the attacks. And in matters of military action, proof must be 99.98% rock-solid to be justified.

    This also does not reflect well on our intelligence services, who as usual continue to be embarrassments to the nation and world. The lazy CYA 3 martini lunch old boys network appears to still be running the show. The Dulles brothers might be dead but their near-perfect track record of being criminally and morally incompetent shitbags who should rot in hell lives on.
