It's International Chocolate Day. Do you prefer American chocolate, or something more International? What is your favorite chocolate? There are good companies everywhere.  As long as it's dark chocolate, I really have no preference as to where it's from.  If fruit is involved, though, I won't touch it.

Do you defy superstitions by doing those things that the superstitions warn against (walking under ladders, etc.)? I don't generally even think about superstitions.  I don't walk under ladders, but that's because it strikes me as an eminently stupid thing to do.

Remembering that it's Think Positive Day, would you let your kids take over the kitchen? Have you done so in the past? If so, are your kids good in the kitchen? (If your kids are grownups, maybe the question would work better for grandkids.) My kids are excellent cooks, and have been since they were kids.  I've made cookies with my granddaughter, and my grandson is still too young.

Are you or any close to you celiacs? My favorite aunt  If so, have you found any good products or recipes that are as tasty as the gluten-filled things? Chestnut flour brownies.  They are also tasty made with coconut flour, which absorbs liquid in the same way and is much cheaper and easier to find.  Actually, I find rice flour to be an excellent substitute for wheat flour in cornbread and cookies (if you don't mind a slightly gritty texture).
