  •  Quinnipac poll & election results say otherwise. (7+ / 0-)

    Let me ask you this:
If two GOP Senators were recalled despite being in a district that had a significant advantage in registered voters, voted for Mitt +19, outspent their opponents 6-to-1 & they still lost by 2% & 12% in a state that has never had so much as a single successful recall petition in the entirety of state history & 20%-30% of Republicans voted for their recall, all because they voted against the background check, what would be your conclusion?

What would be your response if over at Red State they claimed the only problem was GOTV & it was actually an election winner?

    •  as has been explained to you (5+ / 0-)

more than once, these were democrats who underperformed obama in those districts. that's a clue.

but care to address the actual content of markos's post?

are you happy they lost, frank?

      •  You didn't answer the questions. (7+ / 0-)

But allow me to ask you one more:
What would be your response to GOP senators losing despite being in a district that has registration advantages, voted for Mitt +19, & had a 6-to-1 spending advantage, with 20%-30% of Republicans voting for their recall, because of their votes against background checks.......and claiming that it is still a winning issue because 'they underperformed Mitt'?

Those who would sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither.

      •  You're Making it seem that these (5+ / 0-)

Were pro-Obama districts rather than anti-Romney districts.  The reality is that both are anti-Romney districts.  Coloradoans as a general rule are not impressed with people with money who think they are better than us and know better than us.  Romney was like fingernails on a blackboard here.  Both these Districts are much more Reagan Democrat districts.  They certainly aren't San Francisco.  These are town dominated by working class and military folks.  There are very few limousine liberals.  You can only find those folks in very small parts of Denver here and there just aren't many.
