  •  Morning! (9+ / 0-)

We keep a garden plot at a community garden (all day sunlight there, which solves the sunlight problems we have in our yard), and just found out that we now have a second plot. I'm pretty excited about this, because I have an extra 400 square feet of bright, sunny ground to work.

I want to build modular garden beds on it, so I can rotate stuff easily. Some of the stuff will grow vertically, and I'll have support cages to go on top -- I want to be able to move those freely from bed to bed. Anyway, fun stuff. Planning for next year.

I think we'll decommission most of the beds for the season, and overwinter some leeks and red kale...

Breathe in. Breathe out. Forget this, and attaining enlightenment will be the least of your problems.

so popular that there is now a waiting list. Several condo associations in the area have started their own. One in particular is very beautiful and I always try to linger at a stop sign on a public road next to it if no one is behind me just to enjoy what others have accomplished.
