    power." The GOP had made a great effort through several decades to create the impression that the Congress is a mere rubber stamp and that the rotating dictator -- aka President--was/is determinative.
    Calling health insurance reform Obamacare perpetuates that fiction and, instead of trying to set the country straight, Obama just gave in to a name the Cons had assigned in an effort to deep-six what the Congress had cobbled together and the Supreme Court approved.
    The agenda now is to make Congress confront their responsibility. Shutting down the government by turning off the money flow will do that. In fact, it has now gone so far that, regardless of what they actually do, the cat is out of the bag. The citizenry knows well whom to blame.
    Will the Congress critters dare to confront the voters on the hustings next spring and summer?
    More important, will Democrats have candidates to replace every one of them?
