      ...Cop gets fired.

So the Corporatist Democrats have willfully kept the Republican party on life support. The GOP should have fragmented after the Katrina meltdown and the obvious fail that was going to war in Iraq, and then the subsequent mass firing of R's from Congress in '06, and then Obama's win in '08.

The Republicans weren't on the ropes, they were down for the count. Had the Obama administration gone scorched earth on Wall St, broken up the big banks, actually regulated them, and perp walked the criminals at the top of the food chain, the Democrats would have been seen as the Reformers the nation voted for them to be, and the Republican party would have fragmented into the warring entities we're watching, popcorn in lap, right now.

But instead, President Obama, the #1 recipient of Wall St. donations in the '08 election cycle, chose to "Look Forward, Not Backward" (which was exactly  not his campaign slogan). The Democrats revealed themselves as craven, just as corrupt as the Republicans, and so the electorate developed a chronic case of "Throw the bums out"-itis.

So we've thrown out Corporatist Republicans and elected Corporatist Democrats. Then we threw out the Corporatist Democrats and elected Corporatist Republicans, and the Frankenstein's monster of the right, the nutjob Tea Baggers.

      The common theme: Corporatists.

As long as Democrats refuse to primary and replace Corporatist Democrats like Feinstein, Schumer, Bennet, Gillibrand, et al, we cannot stop the Good Cop/Bad Cop game, and the Democratic party cannot
