    Firstly, thanks for the diary and all the work you do to help keep the community informed.

    Now back to my question. I realize nobody knows the answer to this and there are too many inter-related variables to even make a realistically informed guess. But you must think about it? And given the vast amount of information you monitor and study, somewhere deep inside you must have an opinion.

    If nothing changes in terms of human output in the next decade, then how much time do we have?

    I don't really expect an answer because it is a terrifying question to contemplate, but I would like to know what you think.

    I give society as we know it 20 years tops. But I'm a pessimist.
