Boehner has simply punted to the Senate to keep the ball away from Ryan who keeps getting tackled behind his line of scrimmage.  However, the Reid-McConnell compromise is likely to be much more Democratic favorable than that  crap that Susan Collins (whom we refer to as "Yogesh Gandhi" when she used to harangue the Clinton Administration over fundraising issues) offered was shot down by Reid.  Paul Ryan will be there in the House to deny votes for any Senate backed compromise which means that Boehner must go against his caucus and go with Democrats.  That also means that Boehner will need Pelosi's support to remain Speaker.  Not sure whether Boehner is up to it.  A default is still very possible.

He's in the spotlight as the republican deal maker.  The GOP brand is in the tank.  He's the 'go to' guy for Wall St. and the business community and they are demanding a deal.  He must deal and produce.

Harry knows all this.  A deal will get done with a minimal fig leaf for the GOP.

      Will Boehner allow a vote?
