  •  I've ID'd 9, Nancy Pelosi among them.... (5+ / 0-)

    Nancy Pelosi - CA
    Bobby Rush - IL
    Kyrsten Sinema - AZ
    Bruce Braley - IA
    William Lacy Clay - MO
    Pete Visclosky - IN
    John Lewis - GA
    Mike Capuano - MA
    Donald Payne, JR - NJ

I can't tell if they are part of a coalition or caucus or not but they are definitely not Blue Dogs.

    •  That gives us 10 of 14 (1+ / 0-)

I'm thinking the Clerk of the House is gone for the day.

Others have simply gotten old. I prefer to think I've been tempered by time.

    •  Bobby Rush? (0+ / 0-)

John Lewis? Nancy Pelosi? Those are some of the most progressive districts in the country including my one sister's district and my other sister's former district (they keep moving district lines back and forth across her street so she's in Robin Kelly's district now.)

      •  I can't help but think they haven't signed yet... (3+ / 0-)

        because:

         A. There is a party strategy to focus on Republicans moderates that aren't signing it.
         B. They simply haven't been able to get to it yet.

I can't see any ideological opposition or political concern among this group towards signing the discharge petition. They are definitely not Blue Dog conservatives.

    •  Well, it's pretty obvious why Pelosi won't sign (3+ / 0-)

Republican "moderates" would eat dog s*** first before announcing to the world that they voted with the liberal communist from SF.

Her not signing yet is a (rather weak) attempt to court some Republicans.

There should be no ideological reason not to sign this.  Anyone who is a Democrat should be able to sign something as simple and sensible as this.  I'm confident they'll get to 200, I just don't see them getting enough Republicans on board.  They're too scared to go against the tea party.

      •  At some point they should worry about what (0+ / 0-)

        they're doing to the country.

At some point they should worry about what...they're doing to the country.
Our only hope is that they DO worry about their own reelection...and that they later find out it was too little, too late.
