    there are 300 at the current facility, and the subsidy will be granted as long as there are 250 people working.  the article doesn't specify how many will be working at the new place.

      There's plenty of studies out there indicating these corporate welfare scams frequently do not lead to the number of jobs promised by companies getting these handouts-- it's typically way less than promised.

      these are horrible deals for many reasons; if the handout ends up being something like $100,000 per "job saved because we didn't move the factory to Alabama", that $100,000 would be of much better use if dedicated to infrastructure projects which provide much higher wages for workers-- and infrastructure we all benefit from.
