for its share of mess ups.  Many a time I was thankful for Ohio's screwups as it took the heat and attention off of us for a while ;-)

The NOAA declared two unusual mortality events - one for the manatee deaths and the other for bottlenose dolphin deaths -- in the Indian River Lagoon this year.

Just in the last couple of weeks there have been 30+ cases of infections from seawater bacteria with 10 deaths.  Then on Thursday our Riverkeeper for the St. Johns warned of alarming levels of algae blooms and warned to stay away, do not touch and don't even breathe it.

All these issues and the NOAA researchers are furloughed while our GOP House has shut down the government.

I chat w/my brother in Oregon weekly and he lets me know how wonderful it is to live in a blue state, not to mention a state that leads the country in Green Technology!

Keep us updated on Wendy's progress and ways we can help, my friend.  I am sooo excited about this!!

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. John F. Kennedy
