  •  More Better Democrats. (11+ / 0-)

It's being made very difficult with the redistricting.

There is a Koch Cabal Coup under way, IMO

It's difficult to be happy knowing so many suffer. We must unite.

Been answered, but isn't there anything Obama can do?
We are supposed to have 3 EQUAL branches, but the House seems to hold all the power.
      Can't the Senate do anything?
Like zreid finally doing away with the 60 votes rule?
If it was put in under repub rule, why can't the dems change it back to 51?

Passing a law that the Constitution doesn't allow does not negate the Constitution, it negates the law that was passed. Secret courts can't make up secret laws. SORRY FOR THE TYPOS :)

I want to thank the Republicans for suspending democracy so we could become a dictatorship. Since I'm the executive, I'm in charge.

Unless the Republicans immediately open the government and raise the debt limit for at least one year, I will do the following:

Instruct the Treasury Department to fund all social services, military wages and national parks.

Instruct the Treasury to stop funding military weapons, contractors, etc.

Direct him to start imposing income taxes at rates the same as during Clinton's terms.

Fund the government at pre-sequester levels using taxes raised and by removing all subsidies for large farms, corporations, businesses, etc. who provide more than $1,000 for election campaigns

Remove all gerrymandering districts and create a commission to assure that all districts are not obviously stanted toward one party or the other.

Restore the Voting Rights Act in full and prevent anti-voter laws from going into effect or continuing in effect.

The Republicans have 24 hours to open the government and raise the debt limit for at least one year or these are the actions I will take. The ball is in their court.

But Obama would rather default than not get his grand bargain.

PCS, the 14th amendment are still options.  If we default, it's on him for not using it as a threat and then for not using it.  Everybody but Obama know Tuhe teahadists are crazy.
