Now, Nancy seems to think grandma can be used as a bargaining chip just as long as she gets revenue for whatever, who knows, NSA? Defense?

Wow!!! They've got a PARADE of Democrats offering to cut entitlements.  One can only shudder, shiver and quail in terror to think what's been said behind the scenes given how Democrats can't get on MSNBC fast enough to keep telling us over and over and over again how much they want to cut entitlements and this is BEFORE they've even got the deal signed.

And you want me to send money and help?

I am not that crazy.  No money or votes for betrayal.

Today's Dem comments on "entitlements" were probably promised to McConnell as a side agreement to the deal.

What matters more is how Dems negotiate as the next deadlines start looming. Progressives need to pressure Dems on this issue during the coming months.

Ryan looking like such an ass during the shutdown negotiations may have a positive influence on Progressives ability to push back the "entitlement reforms" that he is closely identified with.

An even stronger message would be sent by strong Progressive candidates, including in a few primaries against Dem incumbents.

I repeat this is not a game.  I don't care if Chuck Schumer saved his Wall Street bond trading pals if they're going to cut entitlements.

I didn't start the parade on cable this afternoon with every Democratic leader offering to cut entitlements.  All I'm doing is repeating what I heard and if they didn't want me to hear it then they shouldn't be saying it.

I will vote on what they do on entitlements and as long as they are promising to cut them then my vote is not on the table, my money is not on the table and my effort is not on the table.  This is not how you get me to turn out in 2014.

        Just saying.
