    I tnink some democrats are going to agree that should 'just work harder' and 'it is their fault they are poor'.  Some will allow cuts to basic benifits.  As it is young adults who don't have parental support can have a really hard making it as they try to build a career.  Many are forced to go into the military because there a not a lot of other options.  This is good for those who want to maximize the pentagon budget, but bad for those who believe in the entrepreneurship and the free market.

    Because of sequestration, we are explicitly talking about removing civil benefits to shore up an already bloated military.  Constitutionally this seems really suspect.

    If it is a choice between keeping sequestration or increasing the military budget, I choose sequestration.
