      never cooked fish for that reason ... she was from the inside of Germany that never saw the coastlines of the Northsea. When she moved to Hamburg after WWII she could have very fresh fish all she wanted, but never cooked it. Too stinky.

      Well, she also didn't know how to cook fish and I learned it from my mother-in-law who was very amused to watch me preparing my first fish not knowing that I should have removed all the fish scales first...

      It's always good to learn from cross pollination ...

      size of a basketball court with fish laid out on the concrete to "dry". After it has become "dried fish" it can be shipped around the area, and it is at time that it is deep fried and eaten. I have yet to develop a taste for "dried fish".

      There can be no protection locally if we're content to ignore the fact that there are no controls globally.
