    the "gay brain drain" if measures like this are passed in the states where they have their headquarters or significant operating centers. That'll work in our favor; traditional Republicans won't want to go against the wishes of their corporate backers, and at the very least will remain neutral.

    And these kind of measures could be rendered moot if Section 2 of DOMA, the part that says that states don't have to recognize same-sex marriages performed in other states, gets struck down by future court rulings. Still best to head them off at the pass -- I'll talk to Mr. Scribe when he gets home and see if we can chip in a 10-spot or so.
