      You can't work as a pundit if you have a thin skin. If you think Glenn Greenwald has a thin skin, well...think again. The US government would love to kill him. You think he's worried about some snotty Netizens on a comments thread?

      What it boils down to is, time is tight, always a million things to do, can't be bothered.

      The Internet creates the illusion that we're all equal. Which is/should be true. What we are not, however, is on the same page.

      When I come here, and I suspect this is true for other professional writers and artists, it's in order to connect with people who are interested in the same topics - not to quibble about random bullshit like what little jokes we can say about the president, and which we cannot. If there's no serious dialogue about the major issues of the day, nor reprint fees, there's nothing in it for us.
