  •  This guy is a liar. (12+ / 0-)

He's been a liar forever. I still remember when he was campaining for senate here. he went to a place where politicians have a tradition (of sorts) of going to for speeches, "Fancy Farm." He wasn't well received.

So he went to the media and cried, saying they threw beer bottles at him.

Fancy Farm is in Graves County, a dry county. No alcohol was at the event.

He's been lying from the start. I knew this crap would catch up to him sooner or later.

conversations that make no sense are one of the things that make conservatives so attractive.

I still can't believe Jack Conway lost to that fool. Even though it WAS 2010, which as Pelosi has said, was the "year of hell" for Democrats.  Paul was and is too extreme for KY--how did Conway fail to convey that adequately to voters?

Rand IMO.  I believe the race was tied or Conway was slightly ahead before that happened. Instead of turning the race towards Conway, I think Paul was able to convince Kentuckians
that "special interests" were trying to steal the election. Of course, the irony in that is that Paul was bought and sold by ALEC, the Kochs, amateur fascists, professional RW authoritarians.

Sadly, the Kentucky Democratic party needs to be better organized and get its act together- speaking as a Ky Dem.  I'm seeing some positive changes with Grimes, and also, Steve Beshear taking the lead on KYNECT has fired up some folks.
