    MB, wasn't/isn't there some organized native/tribal opposition to this project as well, having to do with tribal lands, fishing rights, and access?

    Not sure, but I recall something surfacing in emails from one of the groups fighting coal in Whatcom County in the last few months.

    I condemn alike that individualism that would allow the state no room for industrial activity, and that socialism which would absorb in the state the functions of the individual. -Richard Theodore Ely

      strenuously opposes the terminal. Good for them! They have registered their opposition with the Army Corps of Engineers, who pretend they haven't received it - or something.
      This is a long and complicated fight. But the results of this election are terrific!!!
