Let the idiots who insist on keeping their old plan, keep it. Let them get screwed.

I'd bet a million bucks that the focus will flip, and the narrative will by why are they keeping crappy plans? That's better than the current narrative.

It's not worth the crappy press to try to protect them.

What is so unnerving about the candidacy of Sarah Palin is the degree to which she represents—and her supporters celebrate—the joyful marriage of confidence and ignorance. SAM HARRIS

    •  They won't get screwed though (0+ / 0-)

They'll pay for their junk, and when they ARE ill and canceled the exchange that they did not invest in or build will bail them out as the law is written at the expense of all the rest of us.

      •  And when that happens.. (0+ / 0-)

        We win.

At this point, the GOP can LIKELY claim that, since the roll out of healthcare.com, more people have been dropped from coverage that have been added (through the exchange).

A cynical talking point, but they love to exploit stuff like that.

And, perhaps Clinton is baiting the GOP (MSNBC). Let them vote to 'improve" the plan. It would never pass the house.

      •  The policy holders would have to wait ... (0+ / 0-)

... until the next open enrollment period. If open enrollment ends on Jan 15, and you're diagnosed with cancer on Feb 10, you can't change plans until Jan 1 the next year.
