    ....corrupters of me as a youth - it depicted the establishment rich as callous, classist, and racist (the scene with Judge Smails telling racist jokes in earshot of the black shoeshine man).

    The new generation of Republicans remind me of a bunch of Spalding - and we should respond to them like Judge Smails did to him at the snack bar - "You'll get nothing and like it!" (See Reid with the Constitutional Option.)

    You can't spell "Dianne Feinstein" without "NSA".

      ...of the difference between the "nouveau riche" and the Establishment rich.  Who can forget Rodney Dangerfield tossing around $100 tips, buying half the pro shop, and declaring golf courses and country clubs to be the world's biggest waste of real estate - in earshot of Smails?

      Snobs vs. slobs indeed.
