you. All I'd ask in return is that you see mine.

I've got a little 8 year old girl. Small one, probably not over 45lbs, maybe 50. When we go walking I always place her between me and my 10 year old boy just like the ranger told us to do. The cats got another kid just about her size a few years ago. It's rare but it happens. We actually have a surplus of cats here, our biologists have increase the length and added a hunting season. They also have the most relaxed rules as to sex, they don't care male of female. We have so many excess cats that they've depleted deer populations and they wander down into town following the deer who are afraid of being eaten.

People from the city make rules about how and if we can work to reduce the population of cats. We don't want to exterminate them or even cause them to suffer. Yet no one seems to understand what it's like to have so many. They also want to bring in larger predators, which is actually fine with us, up to a point. We just ask to be able to control how many there are so they don't eat us out of house  and home or create a danger.
