I could log in to healthcare.gov or if it would send me the e-mails it says it's going to send.

why you try to login?  What have you tried?

      •  I get an invalid login. (0+ / 0-)

I've tried both the "forgot password" and "forgot userid" options, which tell me that I'll receive an email with instructions, but no email ever arrives.

That's similar to this morning when I was finally able to get through the registration process for the first time.  It said it would send me an email with further instructions, but it never came.

          So when you say this

I was finally able to get through the registration process for the first time
did you create a new account so that you were able to login and complete an application?
          •  Checked spam, and yes/no on the second. (0+ / 0-)

I got a screen saying that I had created an account and that I would receive an email.

I have not been able to login and complete an application.

    •  If you created the account in october (0+ / 0-)

Its highly recommended you create another account after clearing your cookies and your cache. Recommended browsers are IE and Firefox.

      •  Have been trying since then, but today is the (0+ / 0-)

first day I have actually gotten anything to indicate that I have created an account.

So you did get an email saying you created an account but you can't login and when you try to reset your username and password you never get another email about it?

          Is that right?

          •  Almost. I haven't received any emails at all. (0+ / 0-)

I completed the registration process and was greeted with a page saying that I had completed it and that I would receive an e-mail confirming it or some such thing -- I don't actually remember what the page said would be in the email.

And you checked your SPAM folder and it wasn't there either.  Then the only thing I can think of is to create a new account with a new email address and see what happens.

Another thing I just thought of is to make sure that  notices@healthcare.gov is in your ISP whitelist.  I had a friend that kept telling me he was sending me an email but I never saw it and it was never in my spam folder.  I finally called my internet provider and explained what happened and they told me I should put his email address in my whitelist and sure enough it worked.  I had to login to my internet account online to do that.  I didn't even know something like that existed until this happened to me.
