    As well as offensive obviously, but this next comment makes no sense at all:

    You can change the rule to say three. You can change the rule to say three people want it, it's going to happen.
    I mean in his example both sides have at least 3 people. If in the Senate they actually made the rule that any 30 votes could change the rules all they would do is change rules. It's meaningless drivel. Not that I expect anyone who listens to Rush to get that point.

    And again, it's obviously highly offensive and just one more example of why Rush needs to go far far away, but that part of the whole comment just hit me right in logic center, sat there, died and caused a massive headache so I had to comment on it.

      The truly amazing part of his analogy is that for 10 people, 6 people is 50%+1.  The barest majority possible barring some sort of tiebreaker.  The equivalent in the Senate would be 51 votes.
