        His illogical, bizarre and inapt comparison has a little bit to do with Senate rule changing and a lot to do with his misogynistic appeals to his embittered male audience. If you can normalize rape -- consider casually legalizing it in his  example -- and then take it even further by saying 5 of 6 men would in fact vote to legalize rape -- then you are normalizing the radical, reactionary idea of nullifying women's very basic rights of self-ownership and freedom to own our own bodies. It is a very extreme notion he is insinuating, very Taliban.
