We stopped giving the cable company $100 a month in August. While I stream almost everything I watch including movies through Netflix my mother discover METV (Memorable Entertainment Television) and watches from the antenna we have had since we moved here in the 70's.

This week they added old movies on MovieTV and a new slate of old comedies on Antenna TV.

See what  your antenna can get and you might find that you can cut the cable along with it's monthly bill as long as your willing to watch shows when you want to.

BTW: My video adapter supported a second monitor and I ran an HDMI cable to the TV so that my watching doesn't interfere with my online life. It works great even though the best bandwidth available in my area is 6mb/s.

And now back to the my mega marathon of 155 (750 episodes from the first eight+1 Doctors) commercial free Doctor Who original serials. (PM me for the link)

P.S. I found that Google with Adblock and Adblock plus does the best job at eliminating commercials.

I, for one, have no problem being led by a 3500 year old Pharaoh who was trained by space aliens on a distant star.
